Terms of use

These terms apply when you download or play Cloud Chase. By playing, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't play. If you got Cloud Chase from Apple's App Store, Apple's standard licence (the Licensed Application End User License Agreement) also applies, and where the two differ, Apple's licence wins for anything Apple requires.

Your licence to play

We give you a personal, non-transferable right to install and play Cloud Chase on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial fun. You may not copy, sell, rent, or reverse-engineer the game, extract its art, music or code, or use cheats, bots or modified versions to gain an advantage or harm other players.

Age

Cloud Chase is made for players 13 and over. Cloud Duel and posting a name on the world ranking are for players 16 and over. The game asks your birth month and year once to set this up; see our privacy policy.

Online features and fair play

• The only thing you can type that other players see is your name on the world ranking. Keep it clean: no hate, harassment, sexual content, personal information, impersonation, or anything illegal.
• Scores must come from real play. We may remove names or scores that break these rules or look cheated, and block players who keep breaking them.
• Any player can report a name. Reports come to us by email.
• Online features can change, pause or end. If Cloud Duel shuts down, we delete its data as our privacy policy says.

Ads and purchases

Cloud Chase will show ads, including optional ads you can choose to watch for in-game rewards. The first test versions may have none. How ads use data is explained in our privacy policy. There is nothing to buy in the current version. Gems, shards, chests and characters in the game are for play only, have no money value, and can't be exchanged for real money.

Ownership

Cloud Chase, its story, characters, music, art and code belong to Orion Lab Studios or to the people who licensed them to us. The music and sound are original to Cloud Chase. Some 3D art is licensed from third-party asset stores and is used under their licences.

Your progress

Your progress is saved on your phone. If you delete the game or lose the phone, it can't be recovered, because we don't keep a copy.

No warranty

We work hard to make Cloud Chase fun and bug-free, but it is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we don't promise it will always be available, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, Orion Lab Studios is not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the game, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for Cloud Chase (which, for this free version, is nothing). Nothing here limits rights you have that the law says can't be limited, such as consumer rights in your country.

Changes

If we change these terms, we update the date at the top. For important changes, we also tell you in the game before they apply.
