Who we are

Your licence to play

We give you a personal, non-transferable right to install and play Shaft Bound on devices you own or control, for your own and your family's non-commercial use. Please don't copy, sell, rent or reverse-engineer the game, or extract its art, models, music or sounds.

Ads and purchases

Shaft Bound shows child-directed, non-personalised ads from Google AdMob, and offers one optional one-time purchase, Remove Ads, which removes all ads for the Google or Apple account that bought it. Purchases are made through Google Play or the App Store under their terms, and refunds follow their refund policies. Ore, gold, crystals and other in-game items have no real-world value and can't be exchanged for money.

Your progress

Progress is saved only on your device. If the app is deleted or the device is lost, progress can't be recovered. The Remove Ads purchase can be restored with Restore Purchases.

Ownership

Orion Lab Studios owns Shaft Bound and everything in it, including its art, 3D models, characters, music and sound, which we made ourselves. The logo's lettering uses an openly licensed font, used under its licence.

No warranty

The game is provided "as is". We don't promise it will always be available, free of errors, or suitable for any particular purpose.

Limit of liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the game or purchase. Nothing here limits rights you have that can't be limited by law.

Changes

If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top. For important changes, we'll tell you in the game before they apply.
