Questions
Is Spell Shore out yet?
Not yet. It's in development. This page will list where to get it once it's released.
What age is it for?
It's designed so a 6-year-old can play it, with gentle spelling help built in. The game asks for an age range the first time it opens, to pick the right words and set child-safe ad settings; the answer stays on the device.
Are there ads or purchases?
Only optional reward videos, which play only when the player taps to watch one: for a bonus prize (at most 4 offers a day), or, when stuck on a word after the free hints, a video after which the game shows the whole word (at most 10 a day). No banners, no pop-ups, nothing that interrupts play, and parents can turn them off on the For Parents page in the game. On Android they come from Google AdMob and are non-personalised (see our privacy policy). The iPhone and iPad app shows none for now. The first test versions may have none. There is nothing to buy today, and there will never be loot boxes.
How do I report an ad?
Tap Report an ad on the parents' page in the app, or email orionlabstudios@gmail.com with roughly when it appeared and what it showed. We check every report.
How do I turn the videos off?
Open For Parents, answer the grown-up question, and switch reward videos off.
Where is progress saved?
Only on your child's device. We don't keep a copy, so if the app is deleted, progress can't be recovered.
How do I reach the parents' page?
Tap For Parents in the game and answer the grown-up question. See For parents.
How do I delete my child's data?
On the parents' page tap Start the game over, or delete the app. Nothing is stored with us. See Delete data.
