Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to use this site, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, zoom or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.
What we've done
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to content" link.
- Text has strong contrast against the dark background.
- Pages use proper headings and landmarks so screen readers can move around them.
- If your device is set to reduce motion, the animations (the moving stars, the drawing constellation and the scrolling banner) stop.
- Text can be zoomed to 200% without losing content, and pages fit any screen width from phones up.
- Decorative art is hidden from screen readers; everything important is real text.
Known limits
The animated scenes on the home page are decorative. They carry no information that isn't also written out in text. If you need help with accessibility inside one of our games, email us and we'll help.
